Beth Wolff

Chairman & CEO

Beth Wolff is a woman of recognized vision and accomplishment. A third-generation Houstonian, she has built a successful residential real estate business while establishing herself as a leader in every aspect of her community. Working with Houston’s business, civic, and social leaders, Beth has helped shape Houston’s growth, vitality, and quality of life.

More than just the name on the numerous “For Sale” and “Sold” signs throughout Houston’s finest neighborhoods, Beth is the guiding force behind her company’s success. Her commitment to customer service has served as the guide for the firm’s 40+ Realtors and set a standard for residential Realtors.

Involved in every aspect of the Houston Association of Realtors (HAR), the largest trade association in Houston, Beth Wolff has been recognized by the group with the prestigious Presidential Citation, the John E. Wolf Citizenship Cup and served as Chair in 1992. In addition to HAR, she is a member of the Texas and National Associations of Realtors, Who’s Who in Luxury Real Estate and FIABCI-USA, the International Real Estate Federation.

Beth has also made her mark in the Houston community having served in leadership positions with an extensive list of civic organizations. A Leadership Houston graduate of Class III, Beth has served on Leadership Houston’s Policy Council, was Vice Chair of Graduate Programs, and chaired the Executive Briefing Committee. She also chaired Keep Houston Beautiful. Beth has been appointed to serve the city by five different mayors, with her most recent appointment on the Planning Commission for the City of Houston. In addition, she served on the boards of the Better Business Bureau, the Greater Houston YMCA and currently serves on the board of the Greater Houston Partnership. Beth also co-chaired the Steering Committee for Opportunity Houston, a $32M economic development project. A founder of the Women’s Political Forum, Beth is a member and Past President of the River Oaks Business Women’s Exchange Club.

Beth’s awards include YWCA of Houston’s “Outstanding Woman in Real Estate,” Texas Executive Women’s “Woman on the Move,” Houston Chamber of Commerce’s “Life Member Award,” Houston Business Journal‘s “Who’s Who in Real Estate,” Unique Homes Magazine’s “Outstanding Megabroker,” and DBA Magazine’s “Business Professional of the Year.” Beth is a recipient of NCJW’s Faith and Humanity Award and was inducted into the Greater Houston Women’s Chamber of Commerce Hall of Fame and the Junior Achievement Hall of Achievement.

Ed Wolff

President

Fourth-generation Houstonian Ed Wolff grew up watching his mother, Beth Wolff, build a world-class residential real estate business. After college at Louisiana State University (LSU), Ed joined the family firm and learned the ropes, working his way up to president of the company. Today, Ed and Beth preside over Beth Wolff Realtors Real Living, one of Texas’ most successful residential brokerages and respected mother-son enterprises.

Whether it’s new construction, townhouses or luxury homes, Ed enjoys assisting buyers and sellers throughout Houston - and beyond. He holds the Certified Relocation Professional (CRP) and Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) designations and is often called upon to share his expertise through talks at real estate seminars and meetings in many different countries. As a director and spokesperson for FIABCI-USA, the American Chapter of the International Real Estate Federation, he promoted his hometown and the USA in cities around the globe and was instrumental in bringing the World Congress of FIABCI to Houston in 2004.

An active promoter and supporter of the professional real estate community, Ed has served on the HAR and Texas Association of Realtors (TAR) boards of directors, currently chairs the Texas Association of Realtors Political Action Committee (TREPAC ), and contributes his expertise to HAR Governmental Affairs.

Ed has received a number of awards and recognitions that include the HAR 2008 John E. Wolf Citizenship Cup Award and HAR 2010 Realtor® of the Year. Houston Business Journal recognized him with its “40 Under 40” award, presented to Houston’s top 40 business people under the age of 40 who excel in their industries and show dynamic leadership in their community.

eth and Ed share a fascinating family history. Their family was established in Texas during Mexican colonial times when an ancestor received a land grant from the Mexican government, and has been an influential presence in the business and civic affairs of Houston since the 1880s. An even older connection involves one of the most significant political milestones in history, the Magna Carta. The Wolffs are directly descended from Richard and Gilbert de Clare, 3rd and 4th Earls of Hertford, father and son signatories to the Magna Carta in 1215.

In addition to his many professional and community commitments, Ed is a busy husband and father of two as well as an active member of the LSU Alumni in Houston.
