Successful attorney; legal advisor and representative; title company owner; skilled negotiator…Terry Brennan brings 30 years of legal experience and 18 years in the real estate industry to serve his clients at Beth Wolff Realtors.
Estates, trusts, liens, litigation, tax, corporate issues, and bankruptcy are just a few of the areas where Terry’s legal proficiency provides an advantage for his buyers and sellers. His real estate transaction experience includes residential, church, land, and commercial properties, and he will assist in luxury and international sales as well.
“My combined expertise as a Realtor, title company owner, and lawyer gives me a deep knowledge of the real estate industry,” Terry explains. “As a result, I can confidently guide my clients through the entire sale or purchase process--from the initial explorations through negotiations and on to the closing table, helping them to navigate around any bumps in the road toward a successful outcome.”
Terry works hard to gain a thorough knowledge of the client’s situation, needs, and goals. He recognizes the importance of maintaining good communication by answering questions promptly and keeping clients informed and engaged every step of the way. Terry leverages technology to furnish buyers and sellers with pertinent data to help them achieve success.
Becoming a real estate agent and broker was a natural transition for Terry. His father was a real estate broker and title professional and his mother was an agent and property manager. Terry earned his broker’s license in Maryland in 2002 during the process of selling his own home and soon after entered the real estate business. “As an attorney, I represented clients with buying, selling, financing, and leasing real estate, and was also many real estate agents’ go-to lawyer to help resolve issues in their clients’ transactions,” he says.
After a childhood spent in the suburbs of Washington, D.C. and Annapolis, Maryland, Terry graduated from Houston’s Rice University with a degree in economics and French. He attended the University of Maryland School of Law and received his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law.
Terry and his wife, Angie, have three grown children, one of whom serves in the U.S. Air Force. His hobbies include computers/technology, cycling, kayaking, and travel. Terry is also interested in Christian studies, history, foreign languages, a wide range of music, and politics.
